Tencent, the prominent technology company, has declared its strategic Web3 partnership with Ankr, Avalanche, Scroll, and Sui. As a subsidiary of Tencent, Tencent Cloud has announced its active involvement in supporting the development of Web3 and contributing to the sustainable growth of the global Web3 community. To improve the Web3 ecosystem, the cloud services company has partnered with Ankr, Avalanche, Scroll, and Sui, the leading crypto platforms.

According to an official statement dated February 22, Tencent Cloud has committed to developing the Web3 ecosystem by unveiling a roadmap for a full suite of blockchain API services, as well as releasing Tencent Cloud Metaverse-in-a-Box products. Furthermore, it will offer technical support to Web3 developers.

Moreover, Tencent Cloud has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ankr, a Web3 infrastructure provider, to create a full suite of blockchain API services. In addition, it has entered into a partnership with Avalanche, a smart contract platform, as well as Scroll, a fully EVM-compatible open-source zk-Rollup builder, and Sui Tier 1 blockchain, a platform for high-performance gaming.

Poshu Yeng, senior vice president of Tencent Cloud, said, “We envision a future with Web3, which represents a new iteration of the internet that creates a seamless convergence between physical and digital economies.”

Tencent will leverage its technical expertise in gaming, audio, and video to offer technical support for Web3. The company will work alongside industry partners to create a better Web3 ecosystem.

During a Tencent Cloud Web3 build day held in Singapore, the company unveiled the Tencent Cloud Metaverse-in-a-Box, which offers businesses the ability to develop metaverse applications quickly, with enhanced security and flexibility.
